Rainy season is here, so is humidity and oily skin. We suggest playing down on make-up during monsoon.
Achieving a glowing and healthy skin even in monsoon is not that tough. All one has to do is to follow the cleansing, toning and moisturizing routine, along with a healthy diet – comprising fruits and green vegetables.
But if you just can’t stay nude, then here are some super easy tips to follow.
Basics
Remember always use waterproof cosmetics during monsoon. It helps your make up from bleeding.
Follow the cleansing, toning and moisturizing routine. Apply ice on your face and neck, before applying any make-up. This will close the pores and will make your skin ready for the base.
You can also use primer – a cream based or gel based. Primer gives a glossy finish to your skin and makes it ready for the base. Make up base glides over the skin well, if primer is applied initially.Use concealer to hide the spots or acne on skin, then apply a thin layer of foundation and seal it with powder.
Cheeks
You can try the natural way to tinting your cheeks (that’s by pinching them hard) or in case it doesn’t work then use a cream blush. You can also use soft bronzer to give some colour to your cheeks.
Eyes
For that long lasting color on eyes, use eye primer instead of eye cream. It will fix the eye-shadow and prevents ruining. Use waterproof mascara, waterproof eye-liner and waterproof kajal to seal the khol in your eyes. You can also use black eye-shadow to line the inner rims of your eyes. Use mascara on top and bottom lashes; it will open up your eyes. For eyebrows, fill them up with a dark brown eye-shadow using an angular brush.
Lips
Al though it is advisable to use clear balm rather than heavy lipsticks. But if you are the one who can’t live without lipsticks, then first outline your lips with a lip liner of either the same color or some what similar shade. Then fill them up with the lipstick.
You can use a bright colour either on your eyes or on your lips. It can instantly lift your look and your mood as well!
