smartphone brand Xiaomi, which has gained is slowly gaining market in India and has already built a decent customer base is on a phone launching spree. To add to its list of already popular phones are latest Redmi Note 2, Redmi Note 2 Prime.
The company that is planning to invest big in India and manufacture its phones in our country has launhed these two upgraded version of its budget phablet Redmi Note along with the Prime variant of the phone Redmi Note 2 Prime. Both the phones are priced approximately under Rs 10000, Redmi Note 2 is priced at 899 Yuan which is Rs 9,000 and the Prime version of the phone comes at 999 yuan which is Rs 10000.
Redmi Note 2
Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 2 features 5.5 full-HD display is 8.25 mm thick and weighs approx 160 grams. The phone is powered by 2GHz MediaTek Helio X10 octa-core processor and sports and 2GB LPDDR3 RAM. The phone has 16 GB internal storage. The phone has 13MP rear camera with a 5 MP front facing camera, runs on Android 5.0 Lolliop with Xiaomi’s new MiUI 7 skin.
The phone supports dual-sim, 3G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth and GPS connectivity options and comes with 3060mAh battery.
Redmi Note 2 Prime
The phone comes with more or less same features as Redmi Note 2 but the Prime variant has a 2.2GHz MediaTek Helio X10 octa-core processor and 32GB storage.
Along with these two upgraded versions of their Redmi Note, the company has also introduced MiUi7, the latest version of its customised Andriod ROM. The latest software will have some cool features like face recognition in the gallery app. This new software is expected to be launched on August 19.
